The U.S. Department of the Navy’s BRAC Program Management Office (”BRAC PMO”) will offer Roosevelt Roads in three (3) Public Sale parcels via online auction. “Invitation to Bid” publication stipulating the parameters for the auction will be made available to all registered parties and on this website in the upcoming weeks. All registered bidders and other interested parties are encouraged to continue their due diligence investigation and redevelopment planning efforts. Please contact the Roosevelt Roads Bidder Support Center at 800.434.5880 or via e-mail at info@Roosey-Roads.com with any questions or requests for support or information.

Important Changes to Environmental Responsibility of Sale Parcels I
The previous requirement that the Winning Bidder of Sale Parcels I (Bundy) shall accept the responsibility to assume the Navy’s role to own and complete the remaining environmental restoration of contaminated sites on the parcels, has been revised. Effective immediately, the Winning Bidder(s) of Sale Parcels I shall NOT be required to take ownership of and complete the remaining environmental remediation and monitoring of the corrective action plans, as this shall remain the sole responsibility of the Navy. Further, the Winning Bidder(s) of Sale Parcels I shall, in lieu of receiving fee ownership of these defined environmental areas within Sale Parcels I, receive a “Lease in Furtherance of Conveyance” interest (“LIFOC”), until that point in time wherein the Navy has completed all required corrective measures on each environmental site. As the corrective measures for each environmental site are completed and certified as clean, the LIFOC interest in said cleaned site shall then be converted to a FEE interest. Please see the FAQ section for additional information and check back for frequent updates.
